About myself

I am an organized, passionate and curious certified junior Unity game programmer specializing in gameplay and interactivity. After earning a bachelor's degree in computer science from Concordia University, I used my newly acquired skills to create various small games while focusing on implementing a well-designed project structure. Additionally, using programming languages like C++, Java, and Python allows me to solve daily problems and research new ways to interact with my project.

Programmer profile

As a programmer, my passions are game development and, more specifically, gameplay integration and user interactivity. I love creating 2D and 3D games using Unity in my free time and crafting enjoyable gameplay that can be easily improved and mixed with different game systems. The player can discover how to move around the map to gain benefit from environmental effects that are usually obstacles. My side project also involves finding new and interesting ways for users to interact with my games. Using hand tracking as a control scheme is one of my favourite ways to let the user experience a new facet of gaming. Most importantly, I value designing and integrating great system architecture in my project. It enables me to create complex systems that can be integrated, updated and maintained easily without the risk of breaking the project entirely.

What about me in my free time ?

I am a fan of video games, particularly good fantasy RPGs like Dragon Age Inquisition, Baldur's Gate 3, and Monster Hunter. My favourite franchise is the Xenoblade series, which gives me an unbeatable feeling when exploring vast new worlds and mastering deep combat mechanics. When not in front of a screen, I like to practice leatherwork, read, or knit. It allow me to feel productive in my free time an to always be working toward a goal. My four cats always supervise me when I work and are good at their job, except when they can be bribe with some head scratc. To stay active, I love to go swimming or running, and as a morning person, getting up early to hit the pool is never a problem.
